Sustainable Melrose and Sierra Club Massachusetts convened a forum with the five candidates.
Sustainability has always been a core element of Manisha’s work as a city planner. In this forum, she emphasized the importance of regional and local partnerships to give Melrose’s net zero emissions and climate action goals some teeth — starting with a Sustainable Melrose Summit in 2020. Manisha was later awarded the Sierra Club endorsement for the Mayoral race.
